Understanding the Kia Rio's engine specifications

I've been looking at the Kia Rio and I'm wondering what the difference is between the LX and the S trim levels in terms of the engine. Can you explain the technical specifications?

The LX and S trim levels both have the same 1.6L engine, but the LX has a 6-speed manual transmission while the S has a continuously variable transmission (CVT). The CVT offers smoother shifting and better fuel efficiency, but some people prefer the control of a manual.

One main difference between the LX and S is that the LX has a regular 4-cylinder engine while the S has a turbocharged engine. The turbocharged engine offers more power and acceleration, but it also comes at a higher price point.

The LX has a standard 120 horsepower engine, while the S has an available more powerful 130 horsepower engine. If you need more power for highway driving, the S may be the better option for you.
