How do I adjust the headlights on my Kia Ceed?

I just purchased a used Kia Ceed and the headlights seem to be pointing too high. How can I adjust them myself without going to a mechanic?

First, park your car on a level surface and switch the headlights on. Then, locate the vertical and horizontal adjusters on the back of the headlight assembly. You may need a screwdriver to access them. Use the vertical adjuster to lower the headlights and the horizontal adjuster to aim them towards the center of the road. Test the lights by driving at night to ensure they are properly adjusted.

I had the same issue with my Kia Ceed and I found that the easiest way to adjust the headlights is to use a wall or garage door as a guide. Place your car approximately 5-6 ft away from the wall with the headlights on. Then, use the adjusting screws to align the light beams with the edge of the wall. It may take a few tries to get the adjustment just right, but this method worked for me.

Adjusting the headlights on a Kia Ceed can be tricky, so if you're not comfortable doing it yourself, I would recommend taking it to a professional. They have the tools and expertise to properly adjust the headlights and ensure they are aligned correctly for optimal visibility while driving.
