First, make sure you have the correct type of oil and an oil filter for your Kia Soul. Next, locate the oil drain plug and place a drain pan underneath it. Use a wrench to remove the plug and let the old oil drain out. Once it has finished draining, replace the drain plug. Then, locate the oil filter and use an oil filter wrench to remove it. Make sure to drain any remaining oil from the old filter into your drain pan. Replace the old filter with a new one and hand-tighten. Finally, add the new oil through the oil filler cap, making sure not to overfill. Double check for leaks and you're all set!

Changing the oil in your Kia Soul is a simple process that should be done every 5,000-7,500 miles. First, gather all the necessary materials, including oil, a filter, a drain pan, and a wrench. Then, lift your car using a jack and secure it with jack stands. Locate the oil drain plug and remove it with your wrench. Allow all the old oil to drain out before replacing the plug. Next, locate the oil filter and replace it with a new one. Make sure to add the correct amount of new oil through the oil filler cap. Lower your car and check the oil level and for any leaks. You're good to go!

As a Kia Soul owner, I recommend taking your car to a professional for an oil change instead of attempting it yourself. They have the right tools and expertise to ensure it is done correctly. Plus, they can also check for any other maintenance issues while they're at it. It might cost a little more, but it's worth it for the peace of mind and the longevity of your car.
