I recently purchased a Kia Stonic and I want to perform the oil change myself. Can someone walk me through the steps?
ReplyChanging the oil on your Kia Stonic isn't as difficult as it may seem. Here's a step-by-step guide to help you out:
First, make sure you have the correct type and amount of oil for your Stonic. Refer to your owner's manual for this information.
Next, locate the oil drain plug underneath your car near the front of the engine. Place a drain pan underneath and remove the plug.
Allow the old oil to drain completely before replacing the drain plug and tightening it securely.
Now, locate the oil filter and replace it with a new one. Be sure to apply a thin layer of oil to the rubber gasket before installing the new filter.
