To perform a reset on your navigation system, first start by turning off your vehicle and removing the key from the ignition. Then, locate the fuse box in the passenger compartment and remove the fuse labeled 'Navigation System'. Wait for a few minutes before reinserting the fuse and starting your vehicle again. This should reset the system and resolve any issues you were experiencing.

Another way to reset the navigation system is to disconnect the negative terminal of your car battery for about 10 minutes. This will also reset the system and is a more thorough reset compared to just removing the fuse. Just be sure you have any necessary codes or information before doing this, as disconnecting the battery can sometimes cause the system to require a reactivation.

In some cases, a soft reset may also work to fix any issues with the navigation system. Simply press and hold the power button on the system for about 10 seconds until it shuts off, then turn it back on. This will reboot the system and may resolve any problems you were experiencing.
