How do I reset the tire pressure light on my Kia Soul?

I accidentally triggered the tire pressure warning light on my Kia Soul and now it won't turn off. How can I reset it myself without going to the dealership?

To reset the tire pressure light on your Kia Soul, first check that all your tires are properly inflated. Then, press and hold the TPMS reset button located under the steering column until the light turns off. If the light continues to come on, there may be an issue with your tire pressure monitoring system and you should have it checked by a mechanic.

One thing to keep in mind is that the tire pressure light may also indicate a punctured or damaged tire. If resetting the light doesn't work, make sure to inspect your tires for any signs of damage and have them repaired or replaced as needed.

If your Kia Soul has a spare tire, it also has its own TPMS sensor that may need to be reset. Consult your owner's manual for the location of the spare tire TPMS reset button and follow the same steps as above. Don't forget to also check the spare tire's pressure!
