How do I reset the tire pressure monitoring system?

I recently purchased a Kia Sportage and noticed that the tire pressure warning light is on. I checked the tire pressure and they seem to be fine, but the light won't go off. How do I reset the tire pressure monitoring system?

First, try turning off the engine and removing the key for at least 30 seconds. Then, start the engine and drive the vehicle at speeds above 15 mph for at least 10 minutes. This should reset the tire pressure monitoring system.

If that doesn't work, try checking the spare tire as well. Sometimes, the spare tire also has a sensor that needs to be reset. Also, make sure all tires are properly inflated according to the manufacturer's recommendations.

If both of these methods don't work, it's possible that one of the sensors has malfunctioned and needs to be replaced. In this case, it's best to take your vehicle to a certified Kia technician for further diagnosis and repair.
