I recently got new tires on my Kia Ceed, but the tire pressure warning light is still on. How can I reset the system to reflect the correct tire pressure?
ReplyFirst, check to make sure all of your tires are properly inflated to the correct pressure. Then, drive your Kia Ceed at a speed over 20mph for at least 10 minutes to allow the system to recalibrate. If the light is still on after this, it may be worth taking it to a mechanic to check for any underlying issues.
You can try turning off the engine and disconnecting the negative battery cable for a minute before reconnecting it. This may reset the system and turn off the warning light. Otherwise, consult the vehicle's manual for specific steps for your particular model.
