I recently changed my tires on my Kia Niro and now the tire pressure monitoring system is not displaying the correct tire pressure. How can I reset it to accurately display the tire pressure?

First, ensure that all tires are inflated to the recommended tire pressure. Then, locate the reset button under the steering wheel. Press and hold the button until the TPMS light blinks twice. After releasing the button, the light should stay on for a few seconds, indicating a successful reset.

If the TPMS light continues to stay on after a reset, check to see if any of the tires are significantly under-inflated. If so, adjust the pressure and perform the reset again. If the light still does not turn off, there may be an issue with the TPMS system and it's best to consult a Kia dealership for further assistance.

Another possible reason for incorrect tire pressure readings could be a malfunctioning TPMS sensor. If the reset does not fix the issue, it's recommended to have the sensors checked and replaced if necessary.
