How do I reset the tire pressure monitoring system on a Kia Rio?

I recently changed my tires and noticed that the TPMS light is still on. How can I reset it to reflect the new tire pressure?

You can reset the TPMS by following these steps: 1. Turn off the engine and engage the parking brake. 2. With the ignition in the ON position, hold down the TPMS reset button until the TPMS light blinks twice. 3. Release the reset button and start your vehicle. The TPMS should reset automatically. If it doesn't, repeat the process. 4. Once the light turns off, you can release the parking brake and drive normally.

I had the same issue and was able to fix it by resetting the TPMS. Follow these steps to reset it: 1. Turn off the engine and engage the parking brake. 2. Press and hold the TPMS button until the TPMS light blinks twice. 3. Release the button and turn off the ignition. 4. Start your vehicle and drive for at least 20 minutes at a speed of 50 mph or more. This should recalibrate the system and turn off the TPMS light.

I own a Kia Rio and have had to reset the TPMS multiple times. Here's what has worked for me: 1. Park your vehicle and turn off the engine. 2. Press and hold the TPMS button until the TPMS light flashes twice. 3. Release the button and start your car. 4. Drive for at least 20 minutes at a speed of 50 mph or more. This should reset the system and turn off the light.
