To reset the tire pressure monitoring system, start by making sure all the tires are properly inflated. Then, with the car in park, turn the ignition to the on position without starting the engine. Press the reset button located under the steering wheel until the TPMS light blinks three times. This should reset the system and the light should turn off.

Another way to reset the tire pressure monitoring system is by driving the car at speeds above 20 mph for at least 10 minutes. This will recalibrate the sensors and turn off the warning light.

If the TPMS light continues to stay on after trying these methods, it may be a sign of a bigger issue. It's best to take your Kia Sportage to a certified mechanic for further diagnosis and repair.
