How do I reset the tire pressure sensor on my Kia Ceed?

I recently got new tires and now the tire pressure sensor keeps giving me a warning. I tried resetting it through the dashboard but it doesn't seem to work. How can I fix this issue and make sure my tire pressure is accurate?

Hi Samantha, sometimes when getting new tires, the sensors need to be reprogrammed. You can try using a TPMS tool to reset the sensors. If that doesn't work, it's best to bring your car to a dealership or mechanic to have it checked out.

Hey Samantha, first try checking the tire pressure manually with a gauge to make sure it's not just a faulty sensor. If the pressure is correct, you can try disconnecting the battery for a few minutes and then connecting it back to reset the sensors.

Hi Samantha, I had the same issue with my Kia Ceed and I found out that the sensors needed to be replaced. It's a common problem with these cars, so you may want to consider getting new sensors if the other solutions don't work.
