How do I reset the tire pressure sensor on my Kia Niro?

I recently filled my tires with air but the tire pressure sensor on my Kia Niro is still showing a low pressure reading. How can I reset it?

You can reset the tire pressure sensor by pressing and holding the TPMS button on the dashboard for 3 seconds while the car is in park.

Another way to reset the sensor is to disconnect the negative battery cable for a few minutes and then reconnect it.
