How do I reset the tire pressure warning light in my Kia Soul?

I recently changed my tire pressure and the warning light came on. I'm not sure how to reset it. Any advice?

To reset the tire pressure warning light, follow these steps: 1. Turn on the ignition. 2. Press and hold the 'TPMS' button located on the lower left side of the instrument panel until the indicator light flashes three times. 3. Release the TPMS button. 4. Drive the vehicle for about 20 minutes or until the light turns off.

If pressing the 'TPMS' button does not work, try adjusting the tire pressure of all four tires to the recommended levels. Drive the vehicle for a few minutes and see if the warning light goes off. If not, try resetting the light again. If the light continues to stay on, it may indicate a larger issue with your tire pressure system. In this case, it's best to bring your Kia Soul to a trusted mechanic for further diagnosis.

In my experience, the tire pressure warning light can sometimes come on due to changes in external temperature. It's important to regularly check your tire pressure and adjust accordingly to ensure safe driving and optimal gas mileage. If the light continues to come on, it may be worth investing in a tire pressure monitoring system that allows you to easily check your tire pressure at any time.
