I recently purchased a Kia Sorento and I noticed that it has the Lane Keeping Assist system. How do I activate this feature while driving?
Reply'Lane Keeping Assist' works exactly as intended – it will gently steer you back into your proceeding lane if you start to drift. Simply press the 'LKAS' button located on the lower left side of the dashboard to activate the system. You'll know it's active when the 'LKAS' light appears on the instrument panel.
To switch on the Lane Keeping Assist system, first make sure that your Kia Sorento is traveling at a speed of at least 60 km/h. Then, press the 'LKAS' button located on the lower left side of the dashboard. The system will then be active and ready to assist you in maintaining your lane.
