I recently purchased a Kia Stonic and was curious about how the smart key feature works. Can you provide some insight into how the key communicates with the car and how to properly use it?
ReplyThe Kia Stonic's smart key uses radio-frequency identification (RFID) technology to communicate with the car's built-in receiver. When you are within a certain range of the car, the key sends a unique signal to the car, allowing you to lock, unlock, or start the vehicle without actually inserting the key into the ignition.
To use the smart key, simply keep it in your pocket or bag while near the car and press the button on the door handle to unlock it. To start the car, press the start/stop button with your foot on the brake. Just make sure to keep the key within range or the car will not start.
