How often should I change the Kia Stonic's engine oil?

I recently purchased a Kia Stonic and I am wondering how often I should get the engine oil changed. I have heard different recommendations and I am not sure which one to follow.

It is generally recommended to change your engine oil every 5,000 to 7,500 miles for normal driving conditions. However, if you frequently drive in stop-and-go traffic or in extreme temperatures, it is best to change it every 3,000 to 5,000 miles. Be sure to also check your owner's manual for specific recommendations.

I suggest getting the engine oil changed every 6 months, regardless of mileage. This will ensure that your engine is running smoothly and efficiently. It's always best to be proactive when it comes to maintaining your car.

If you use synthetic oil, you can go longer between oil changes, usually about 10,000 miles. However, make sure to still check your oil levels regularly and if it looks dirty or low, get it changed as soon as possible.
