How often should the brake pads be replaced in a Kia Ceed?

I just bought a Kia Ceed and I'm wondering how often I should replace the brake pads? Is it different for front and rear brake pads?

Brake pad replacement intervals vary based on driving conditions and habits. While some manufacturers recommend replacing them every 30,000 miles, others may recommend 50,000 miles or more.

It's best to consult your Kia Ceed's owner's manual for specific recommendations on when to replace your brake pads. In general, it's a good idea to have your brake pads inspected every 15,000 miles and replaced when they have less than 3mm of lining left.

If you notice any of the signs of worn brake pads, such as squeaking or grinding noises, reduced braking power, or longer stopping distances, it's time to have them replaced. It's better to replace them sooner rather than later to avoid safety issues.
