How often should the Kia Ceed's engine oil be changed?

I just bought a Kia Ceed and I'm wondering how often I need to change the engine oil. Does anyone have any tips on frequency and what type of oil to use?

Hello Samantha, congrats on your new Kia Ceed! The recommended oil change interval for your vehicle is 5,000 miles or every 6 months, whichever comes first. As for the type of oil, it's best to follow Kia's recommendations outlined in your owner's manual. Be sure to use high quality, synthetic oil to keep your engine running smoothly.

Hi Samantha, I've had my Kia Ceed for a few years now and I found that changing the oil every 4,000 miles works best for me. As for the type of oil, I suggest using a synthetic blend if you're on a budget, or full synthetic for optimal performance.
