I recently purchased a Kia Stonic and I'm not sure if the air conditioning is cooling my car properly. How can I check if everything is working correctly?
ReplyFirst, turn on your car and let it idle for a few minutes. Then, turn on the air conditioning at maximum cooling and fan speed. Place your hand near the air vents and feel if the air is cold and has good airflow. If not, it could indicate an issue with your air conditioning compressor.
Another way to check is by using a thermometer. Place it in the center vent and check the temperature. It should be around 40-45 degrees Fahrenheit. If it's higher, it could indicate a problem with the refrigerant or other components.
