I have noticed that my Kia Ceed has a jerky movement when I put it in reverse gear. It feels like it is struggling to engage the gear and then suddenly jerks backward. It only happens when I am reversing up a hill. Is there any way to fix this issue?
ReplyI had a similar issue with my Kia Ceed. My mechanic suggested that it could be a problem with the transmission fluid. He advised to check the transmission fluid level and quality and replace it if necessary.
Another possible cause could be a worn out rear engine mount. If the mount is damaged, it can cause vibrations and jerking motions when reversing up an incline. I recommend getting it inspected and replaced if needed.
