Hi Samantha, first of all, make sure you are parked on a flat surface and the engine is turned off for at least 15 minutes. Then, locate the dipstick and remove it from the engine. Wipe it clean with a cloth and reinsert it back into the engine. After that, take it out again and check the oil level. It should be between the minimum and maximum markers on the dipstick. If it is below the minimum, you need to add more oil.

Hey Samantha, another important thing to keep in mind is the type of oil you are using. Make sure to use the recommended grade of oil for your Kia ProCeed, as stated in the owner's manual. Using the wrong type of oil can cause damage to the engine. Also, be sure to change your oil regularly according to the schedule provided by Kia.

Hi Samantha, in addition to checking the oil level, it's also important to check the oil color and consistency. If the oil is dark and dirty, it's time for an oil change. You can also take your car to a mechanic for a more thorough check-up and oil change if needed.
