How to troubleshoot engine overheating in the Kia Rio?

I have been experiencing engine overheating issues with my Kia Rio. The temperature gauge shows it's overheating but I haven't noticed any leaks or strange noises. What could be the possible causes and how can I fix this issue?

First, make sure that your coolant level is sufficient and not leaking. If it is, then it could be a faulty thermostat or water pump. I suggest taking your car to a trusted mechanic to properly diagnose and fix the issue.

Check the radiator for any blockages or debris that could be causing the engine to overheat. You can also try flushing the coolant system to get rid of any build-up that may be causing the issue. However, if the problem persists, it's best to consult a professional.

Another possible cause could be a malfunctioning radiator fan. Check if the fan is running when the engine temperature rises. If not, then it may need to be replaced. Again, it's best to get it checked by a mechanic to ensure proper diagnosis and repair.
