Is it normal for my Kia Sorento to make a clicking noise when I turn the steering wheel?

My Kia Sorento has been making a clicking noise whenever I turn the steering wheel, especially when I'm making tight turns. Is this something I should be concerned about or is it normal for this type of vehicle?

It is actually common for Kia Sorentos to make clicking noises when turning the steering wheel. However, if the clicking is accompanied by other unusual sounds or vibrations, it may be a sign of a bigger issue. I would recommend taking your vehicle to a trusted mechanic for a thorough inspection to ensure everything is functioning properly. Better safe than sorry!

I have also noticed a clicking noise in my Kia Sorento when turning the steering wheel. After some research, I found out that this could be caused by a worn or loose steering column joint. I would suggest getting it checked out by a mechanic to prevent any potential problems down the road.

I've had a similar issue with my Kia Sorento and it turned out to be a faulty power steering pump. Luckily, it was covered under my warranty and was replaced at no cost. I would recommend bringing your vehicle to a Kia dealership for diagnosis and possibly a repair under warranty.
