In my experience, the Kia Rio has been very reliable. I've had mine for 5 years and haven't had any major issues.

I had a Kia Rio and it constantly had mechanical problems. I wouldn't recommend it.

I'm a mechanic and I've seen a lot of Kia Rios come in for repairs. It's not the most reliable car out there.
