First and foremost, make sure your coolant levels are topped off. Low coolant can cause your engine to overheat. Check for any leaks or cracks in your coolant reservoir or hoses. If you see any, they will need to be replaced.

Another common cause of engine overheating is a faulty thermostat. If your thermostat is stuck closed, it won't allow coolant to flow properly and regulate the engine's temperature. Consider getting it replaced.

In some cases, a malfunctioning water pump can also lead to engine overheating. A quick way to check is to carefully touch the radiator while the engine is running. If it's warm at the top and cool at the bottom, your water pump may be failing.

If none of the above seem to be the issue, it's possible that your radiator may be clogged. This can happen over time with buildup of debris and sediment. Flushing the radiator may help resolve the problem.
