What are the oil change intervals for a Kia Rio?

I just bought a Kia Rio and I'm wondering how often I need to change the oil. I've heard different things from different people. Can anyone give me a clear answer on the recommended oil change intervals for a Kia Rio?

According to the Kia Rio owner's manual, the recommended oil change interval is every 7,500 miles or 12 months, whichever comes first.

Some people recommend changing the oil every 3,000 miles for optimal engine performance, but this may not be necessary for all vehicles. It's best to follow the manufacturer's recommendations.

I've been driving a Kia Rio for the past 5 years and I've always changed the oil every 5,000 miles. My car runs great and I've never had any engine problems.
