What causes the Kia Stonic to jerking while shifting?

I noticed that my Kia Stonic jerks while shifting gears. What could be causing this and how can I fix it? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Jessica, this could be caused by a number of things such as a faulty transmission, low transmission fluid, or even a misfiring engine. I would recommend taking your Stonic to a trusted mechanic to diagnose the issue. It's always better to address potential problems sooner rather than later.

Hey Jessica, I had a similar issue with my Kia Stonic and it turned out to be a faulty transmission solenoid. Have a mechanic check this component and replace if needed. This should fix your jerking issue.

Hi Jessica, if your transmission jerking is accompanied by a clunking noise, it could be a sign of a worn out transmission mount. It's important to get this fixed as soon as possible to prevent further damage to your car. I would suggest taking it to a mechanic for inspection.
