What does the ECO mode do in the Kia Sorento?

I noticed there is an ECO mode in my Kia Sorento, but I'm not sure what it does. Can you explain?

In ECO mode, the acceleration and climate control are adjusted for maximum fuel efficiency. It's great for saving gas on longer drives.

I always use ECO mode when stuck in traffic. It helps reduce emissions and saves on gas.

You can also turn off ECO mode if you prefer a more responsive driving experience.
