What does the 'smart parking assist' feature do on the Kia Ceed?

I recently purchased a Kia Ceed and noticed it has a feature called 'smart parking assist'. I'm not sure what it does exactly and I was hoping someone could explain it to me.

The 'smart parking assist' feature on the Kia Ceed uses sensors and cameras to assist you in parking by automatically steering the car into a space.

It can also help with parallel parking by calculating the right steering angle for you to squeeze into tight spots.

Make sure to always keep your foot on the brake while using this feature, as it is not fully autonomous and still requires driver supervision.
