What does the Sportmatic system do in the Kia Sorento?

I have heard about the Sportmatic system in the Kia Sorento, but I'm not sure what it actually does. Can someone explain it to me?

The Sportmatic system is basically a manual mode for the transmission. Instead of just using the regular automatic mode, you can put it into Sportmatic and manually control the gears.

I've found that using Sportmatic can be really useful in certain driving situations, like going up a steep hill or when you need more power for overtaking.

I prefer using Sportmatic because it gives me more control over my Sorento and makes it feel more like a performance vehicle.
