What is Kia Sorento's Smart Shift & Drive technology?

I've noticed that my Kia Sorento has a Smart Shift & Drive button on the center console. What does this do and how does it affect my driving experience?

Kia Sorento's Smart Shift & Drive technology allows you to quickly change the driving mode from Normal to Eco, Sport, or Smart with just one touch of a button. In Eco mode, your Sorento will prioritize fuel efficiency, while in Sport mode, it will provide a more responsive driving experience.
