I just bought a 2018 Kia Sorento and I'm wondering what is the best type of oil to use for optimal performance and engine longevity. Should I stick with conventional or switch to synthetic?

It really depends on your driving habits and the climate you live in. If you regularly do a lot of stop-and-go driving or live in a hot climate, synthetic oil is definitely the way to go. But if you mostly do highway driving and live in a moderate climate, conventional oil should suffice.
