What is the difference between Kia Stonic 1.0 and 1.2 engines?

I am considering buying a Kia Stonic, but I can't decide between the 1.0 and 1.2 engines. Can someone explain the differences and which one would be better in terms of performance?

The main difference between the 1.0 and 1.2 engines is their power output. The 1.0 engine has a maximum power of 118 hp, while the 1.2 engine has 99 hp. The 1.0 engine also has slightly better fuel efficiency.

As for performance, the 1.0 engine has better acceleration and can go from 0 to 60 mph in 10.3 seconds, while the 1.2 engine takes 12.2 seconds. If you prioritize fuel efficiency over performance, then the 1.0 engine would be a better choice.

I personally have the 1.0 engine and I'm very happy with it. It has enough power for everyday driving and the fuel efficiency is definitely a plus. However, if you want a bit more oomph and don't mind sacrificing a bit of fuel efficiency, then go for the 1.2 engine.
