I am considering purchasing a Kia Niro but I am confused about the difference between the hybrid and plug-in hybrid models. Can you please explain the technical differences between the two?
ReplyThe main difference between the Niro Hybrid and the Niro Plug-in hybrid is the size of the battery and the range it can provide. The Niro Hybrid has a smaller battery and can travel up to 26 miles on electric power alone, while the Niro Plug-in Hybrid has a larger battery and can travel up to 105 miles on electric power alone.
Another difference to consider is the charging time. The Niro Plug-in Hybrid will take longer to fully charge its larger battery, but it will provide you with a longer range. Meanwhile, the Niro Hybrid's smaller battery can be fully charged in just a few hours.
