What is the difference between the Kia ProCeed 1.4 T-GDi and 1.6 CRDi engines?

I am considering buying a Kia ProCeed and I am wondering what the main differences are between the 1.4 T-GDi and 1.6 CRDi engines. Which one would you recommend based on performance, fuel efficiency, and overall driving experience?

A

Both engines have their own strengths and it ultimately depends on your personal preferences. The 1.4 T-GDi engine is more powerful with 138 horsepower and offers a sportier driving experience. On the other hand, the 1.6 CRDi engine has 134 horsepower but offers better fuel efficiency and is smoother for daily driving.

I personally have the 1.4 T-GDi engine and I absolutely love it. It has a good balance of power and fuel efficiency. But if you do a lot of highway driving, the 1.6 CRDi engine may be a better option for you.

Being an owner of the 1.6 CRDi, I can say that it is a very reliable and fuel-efficient engine. It may not have as much power as the 1.4 T-GDi, but it still provides a smooth and comfortable driving experience. If you prioritize fuel efficiency and comfort, I would recommend the 1.6 CRDi.
