What is the gas mileage for the Kia Niro?

I am looking to buy a new Kia Niro and I am wondering what kind of gas mileage I can expect? I will mostly be using it for city driving and occasional long trips.

The Kia Niro has an EPA-estimated gas mileage of 52 mpg city and 49 mpg highway.

I have been driving the Kia Niro for a year now and I consistently get 50+ mpg in city driving.

I would recommend considering the Kia Niro plug-in hybrid for even better gas mileage and potential tax credits.
