I've noticed that my Kia Picanto is making a loud noise whenever I accelerate. What could be causing this and what should I do to fix it?
ReplyIt's possible that the noise is coming from a loose or damaged exhaust system. I recommend checking the connections and pipes for any damage and tighten or replace as necessary. Also, make sure the exhaust hangers are secure.
Another possible cause could be a worn out serpentine belt. Try checking the belt for any cracks or wear and see if it needs to be replaced. If the belt is in good condition, the issue may be with the belt tension or one of the pulleys.
If the noise is more of a whining or grinding sound, it could be a problem with the transmission. Check the transmission fluid level and condition, and if necessary, take it to a mechanic for further diagnosis.
