What type of oil should I use for my Kia Ceed?

I just bought a used Kia Ceed and I want to make sure I'm using the right type of oil. What kind of oil should I use and how often should I change it?

You should always use the recommended oil type for your Kia Ceed, which is a synthetic blend oil with a viscosity of 5W-30. As for the frequency of oil changes, it's recommended to change it every 5,000 miles or every 6 months, whichever comes first.

I suggest using a full synthetic oil with a higher viscosity for better engine performance. However, you may need to change it more frequently, about every 3,000 miles.

You can also use a synthetic blend oil with a higher viscosity for better engine protection, especially if you live in a cold climate. Just make sure to follow the manufacturer's recommendations for oil change intervals.
