Why am I getting weird noises from my Kia Niro's engine?

I recently bought a Kia Niro and I've noticed some strange noises coming from the engine. It doesn't seem to affect the performance, but it's definitely concerning. Are there any common issues that could be causing this? And what steps should I take to fix it?

It's possible that there may be an issue with the engine's bearings. This can sometimes cause loud, abnormal noises. It's best to have a mechanic take a look and diagnose the problem.

Another possible cause could be a loose or worn out belt in the engine. This can cause a squealing or rattling sound. Have a mechanic check the belts and replace if necessary.

D

Sometimes, the noise can be coming from a faulty exhaust or muffler. Have a mechanic inspect the exhaust system for any leaks or damage.

A

If you recently got your oil changed, it's possible that the wrong type of oil was used or the oil level is too low. Make sure the correct oil is being used and check the oil level to see if it needs to be topped off.

C

If you notice the noise only occurs when the car is in motion, it could be an issue with the wheels or suspension. Get the tires and suspension system checked by a mechanic.
