Why does my Kia Ceed's engine make a clicking noise at low speeds?

I recently noticed that my Kia Ceed's engine started making a clicking noise whenever I drive at low speeds. This only happens when the car is in motion and the noise disappears when I accelerate. What could be causing this and is it something I should be concerned about?

Hello Maria, thank you for reaching out. It is possible that the clicking noise is coming from the engine's valves. It could be a sign of wear and tear or a lubrication issue. I would recommend taking your car to a Kia dealership to have it checked by a professional mechanic.

Hi Maria, the clicking noise could also be caused by loose engine components such as the alternator or pulleys. I would advise you to have your engine inspected by a qualified mechanic to determine the exact cause of the noise. Don't wait too long as this could potentially lead to more serious issues.

Hi Maria, it is always a good idea to get any unusual noises in your car checked out. In this case, the clicking noise could be a sign of a problem with the transmission or drivetrain. I suggest taking your car to a trusted mechanic for a thorough inspection.
