Why does my Kia Niro produce a strange noise?

I recently purchased a Kia Niro and have been noticing a strange noise coming from the engine. It's not constant, but it happens frequently. I'm worried that there might be something wrong with my car. Can anyone provide some insight on what could be causing this noise and if it's something that needs to be fixed?

It's possible that the noise you're hearing could be coming from a loose belt. If you're comfortable doing so, you could check the belts yourself and tighten them as needed. If not, it's always best to bring your car to a reputable mechanic to have it checked out.

Another possibility could be a problem with one of the components in your car's exhaust system. This could be caused by a loose or damaged part. If the noise is coming from the rear of the car, this could be the likely culprit. Again, it's best to have a professional take a look to diagnose and fix the issue.

One final thing to check is your car's air filter. If it's clogged or dirty, it could be causing your car to work harder and produce unusual sounds. Replacing the air filter is a simple and affordable fix that could potentially solve the issue.
