Why does my Kia Rio make a strange noise when I accelerate?

Whenever I accelerate in my Kia Rio, it makes a high-pitched whining noise. It only happens when I'm accelerating, and it seems to be louder when I'm driving at higher speeds. What could be causing this and how can I fix it?

It sounds like you may have an issue with your transmission. You should take your Kia Rio to a trusted mechanic and have them diagnose the problem. Don't wait too long, as transmission issues can get worse if left untreated.

Check your drive belts and pulleys for any signs of wear and tear. If they are worn out or damaged, they could be causing the strange noise. You should replace them as soon as possible to prevent further damage.

I had a similar issue with my Kia Rio and it turned out to be a faulty exhaust system. The problem was fixed after replacing the exhaust pipe. I highly recommend taking your car to a dealership for this type of repair.
