Why does my Kia Rio's check engine light keep coming on?

I have a Kia Rio and the check engine light keeps coming on. It's frustrating because I've taken it to the mechanic multiple times and they can't seem to fix it. Has anyone else experienced this issue and found a solution? I'm not sure what to do next.
