Why does my Kia Rio shake when I reach high speeds?

I have a Kia Rio and whenever I drive on the highway at high speeds, the car seems to shake a lot. It feels like the wheels are wobbling or the car is vibrating. Is this a common issue with Kia Rios? What could be causing this and how can I fix it?

Hi Samantha, I have also experienced this issue with my Kia Rio. It could be due to unbalanced or misaligned tires. I suggest getting them checked and possibly rotated and balanced by a professional.

Hey Samantha, I had the same problem with my Kia Rio when I first got it. It turns out the culprit was worn out suspension components. I recommend getting them inspected and replaced if needed.

Hi Samantha, if you have recently changed your tires, make sure they are the correct size and properly inflated. Incorrect tire size or pressure can also cause shaking at high speeds.

Hey Samantha, have you noticed any shaking during braking as well? If so, it could be due to worn out brake pads. I suggest getting them replaced to see if it improves the shaking while driving.
