There can be several reasons why your Kia Rio stalls after starting. One possibility is a malfunctioning idle air control valve, which regulates the engine's idle speed. It could also be due to a dirty or clogged fuel filter, which can restrict the flow of fuel to the engine. Another potential cause is a faulty ignition coil, which can affect the spark plugs and cause the engine to stall.

I recently had a similar issue with my Kia Rio, and it turned out to be a problem with the fuel pump. The fuel pump is responsible for supplying fuel to the engine, and if it is not functioning properly, the engine may stall. I suggest getting your fuel pump checked by a mechanic.

One less common but possible cause of stalling is a dirty mass airflow sensor. The mass airflow sensor measures the amount of air entering the engine and adjusts the fuel injection accordingly. If it is dirty, it can affect the fuel-air mixture and cause the engine to stall. I would recommend getting your mass airflow sensor cleaned or replaced if necessary.
