Why does my Kia Sorento make a strange noise when I turn?

Whenever I turn my Kia Sorento, there is a strange noise coming from the front of the car. It almost sounds like a squeaking or grinding noise. What could be causing this and how can I fix it?

It sounds like your front wheel bearings may be worn out. This is a common issue with Kia Sorentos, especially if you have high mileage. I would recommend taking your car to a trusted mechanic to have them inspected and replaced if necessary.

Check your power steering fluid levels. If they are low, it could cause your power steering pump to make a noise when turning. Make sure to always use the recommended type of fluid for your Kia Sorento.

Another possibility is that your CV joints may be worn out. This is especially common if you have been hearing a clicking or popping noise while turning as well. Have a mechanic inspect your CV joints and replace them if needed.
