Why does my Kia Soul's engine overheat after running for a short period of time?

I noticed that after driving my Kia Soul for about 15 minutes, the engine starts to overheat and the temperature gauge goes up. I've checked the coolant levels and they seem to be fine. What could be causing this issue?

It sounds like there may be an issue with your radiator. Over time, sediment and debris can build up and block the flow of coolant, causing the engine to overheat. I recommend taking your Kia Soul to a mechanic to have the radiator flushed and cleaned.

Another possible cause could be a faulty thermostat. If it's stuck closed, it could be preventing the flow of coolant and causing the engine to overheat. I suggest having the thermostat checked and replaced if necessary.

Have you checked the radiator fan? If it's not running properly, it won't be able to cool down the engine and could be the reason for the overheating. I recommend having the fan checked and replaced if needed.
