I've noticed that my Kia Sportage seems to have a rough idle when I first start it up. What could be causing this and how can I fix it?
ReplyYour issue could be due to a dirty air filter or a problem with the fuel injectors. I recommend getting those checked and cleaned if necessary.
Another possible cause could be a faulty oxygen sensor. This can affect the air/fuel mixture and lead to rough idling. I suggest getting the sensor replaced if needed.
In some cases, a rough idle can be caused by a worn out spark plug. Check the spark plugs and replace them if necessary.
You may also want to have the throttle body and idle control valve inspected and cleaned. These components can also contribute to rough idling.
