The rattling noise could be caused by a loose heat shield on your exhaust system. This is a common issue in Kia Sportages. You can fix it by tightening the bolts or replacing the heat shield if it is damaged.

Another possible cause of the rattling noise could be a worn out serpentine belt. If the belt is cracked or damaged, it will make a rattling noise. You can fix this by replacing the belt.

It is also possible that the rattling noise is coming from a loose or broken engine mount. This can cause a rattling sound when accelerating. You will need to have a mechanic inspect and replace the engine mount if needed.
